Question: I do not understand one of Aesop's fables!. What is the moral behind Aesop fable of "Wolf and the Lamb"!?
A wolf was chasing a young lamb!. The poor lamb realized it could not escape, so it turned to the wolf and said, "Please, Wolf, I know I am about to die, but before you eat me, would you do me a great favor!. I have heard you are a wonderful flute player!. Please play for me, and I can have one last dance!." The wolf quickly agreed because it also thought it was a great flute player!. It plated and the lamb danced, but the shepherd's dogs heard the sound of the flute and came after the wolf!. As the wolf escaped, it said to itself, "My purpose was to be a butcher, not a musician!."Www@QuestionHome@Com
