If you have ever written anything very good and creative like a book or story( fiction only), what inspired you to write it!? What were you doing when you got the idea of it!? Where did the idea come from!? I can't come up with any ideas in the genre I want to write in, and I know this q has been asked alot, but please help!. Any answers would be niceWww@QuestionHome@Com
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Well, the idea came from a dream--only part of that dream!. I had some strange dream I was on a bus with my ex-boyfriend and we were on a field trip to some strange mansion or something like that!. There was this one girl on the bus who kept giving us shifty looks and she looked rather murderous!. So we stopped off at this house thing, went in, and she suddenly went berserk and started killing everyone!. I was running like mad, she had me pinned, and I woke up before she killed me!. The dream inspired me with that character, except I've shaped her a lot!. In my novel, she is an assassin, but she only murdered three people throughout her centuries of being the antagonist!. And she doesn't kill because she wants to, like she did in my dream!. The rest of the idea for my novel came from something bizarre that happened to me when I was in the third grade!. I was a serious God believer back then, and one of my friends came up to me and said she saw some follower of Satan singing in a tree!. We didn't believe her at first, until my friends, one-by-one, said they started seeing the same thing!. Then I thought I saw it too!. So, behind our school we have a little church no one goes to, and in place of the cross is a rock, which we were told meant that it was Satan's church!. So, I started having all these bizarre visions about seeing singing Satan followers, and one day at recess my friend just randomly started choking me!. I really thought she had been possessed by Satan or something, but she woke up and told me she had had some lucid dream about picking an apple!. If you ever read my novel, you'll wonder how I got my ideas from these wacky experiences, but I've shaped those ideas over time!. I've also pulled ideas from practice novels I did when I was a lot younger!. But I first began to write my novel in the sixth grade, was unsatisfied with the idea, and didn't pick it back up until two years later when I was going through a tough time!. The protagonist represented who I used to be, with all the angst, depression, and suicidal thoughts!. Naturally, I've shaped her to a more indifferent person, the kind of girl who would think about dying, but she wouldn't be so ready to jump into it because of conflicting feelings!. And she isn't so self-injurous as I once had her!. Www@QuestionHome@Com Well, I guess what inspired me was a dream I had the night before!. I got a lot of my ideas from dreams and random thoughts!. I probably got the idea from an anime I was watching (Elfen Lied), and a former novel I was writing(shut it down because it was too similar to other books)!. And don't worry about not having any ideas, because when you need it most, it'll most likely come right when you need it!. My novel comes from just whatever I'm thinking of at the time, so it's basically completely made up!. You can try that too, it's a very good strategy for a struggling author!. So just keep trying, and keep thinking, and you'll be a best selling author in no time!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com you just have to be creative, think of a dream you had and write it down, you could just think of something you like and write it into a book!. yes you can just come up with any idea and write it down!. think in the shower, thats were i think of alot of idesa, also brainstorm come up with alot of ideas and pick oneWww@QuestionHome@Com im not much of a writer but my own little life inspired me 2 write it!. also the things that happened, the things that didnt happen and the things that i think shouldve happened but didnt and also love inspired me to try and be so frickin creative;) but mostly listening to my ipod music is very inspiring when you actually listen to the words and the tone of voice being usedWww@QuestionHome@Com I closed my eyes and started imagining the book in my head!. I imagined a bunch of different scenes and then wrote them down!. I played some music that matched the mood of the story and then the words just started flowing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com The ideas that I actually end up using usually come when I'm running, listening to music, drawing, et cetera!.
