Severus Snape is right!. Twilight, not being a well-written book, doesn't employ many literary devices!. When they are used, they are extremely cliched!. The car purring is an example of personification!. But I highly suggest you read some other books that have transcended literary standards!. Read a few classics, they're called classics for a reason!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

There isn't much, but the person above gave Edward's car purring, which is good!. From a literary standpoint, Twilight is not a great book and is not very well written although Meyer's writing clearly improves over the series!. I still love it though for the plot and characters (okay, so mainly Edward!.!.!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Personification is giving anything besides humans the ability to do something that only a human could do!. An example is : The stapler jumped off of the desk!. Since a stapler really cant jump off of a desk, that is an example of a personification!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I doubt you will find any personification or other literary devices in that book!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
