Question: Do I put quotes or underline a play title!?
For the play The Crucible, am I supposed to underline it or put quotes around it when I write a paper about it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Underline or italicize it (depending on if this is a student paper or not)!. Rule of thumb: If it can stand on its own, underline!. If it's just a part of something bigger, use quotes!.
Like a song "Grand Theft Autumn" is in quotes, but the album Take This to Your Grave would be underlined or italicized (if Yahoo! wasn't so mean to us)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The rule is:If its a one act play or shorter you are supposed to put it in quotations!.The Crucible is a two act play,I believe,so it should be underlined!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
