Question: New author needs some help!?

i am novice author, i have recently written the first few chapters for a new novel!.
i wanted to know where i can show a preview of my work, or get hold of a publisher and how!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Don't show unfinished work to a publisher!.!.!.they really won't be impressed! You need to finish your first draft, then redraft it again and again to make sure it's presentable to a publisher!.

However, there's nothing stopping you from showing other people your work!. It's a great idea to get a fresh perspective!. Like other people have said, look out for writer's groups in your area, or online websites where people give each other critique (but be careful if you plan to publish the work you put online, don't want anyone stealing it now!)!.

There are some magazines that will give you a critique if you send them your work, possibly for a small fee!.

As for getting in touch with publishers, maybe the writer's handbook could help you!? There's one released every year!.

You can join any number of writing groups on the internet!. These groups allow writers, new and published, to share their work and get honest feedback!. It is through this networking that you can find out about the process of getting published!.
