does anyone think that carrie could have had an underlying mental illness (ie!. aspergers or PTSD) or do u think it was how she was raisedWww@QuestionHome@Com

Carrie could certainly had some kind of neurosis (how could she NOT, with the upbringing she had!?), but I doubt that she had any congenital condition like Asperger's!. She tried too hard to fit in, and her difficulties in doing so were the result of that anti-social upbringing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think you may be right about that mental illness!. As crazed as her mother was I'm sure that created part of it and the fact that she may have never seen a doctor didn't help things either!. I think PTSD fits wellWww@QuestionHome@Com
