Question: Publishing my book (Fantasy)!?
I started a fantasy back when I was 13, and worked on it on and off until I was 15!.

Came back to it this year, 18, and have done a LOT of editing to it!. The story however isn't finished and I plan to get it done by the late end of next year!.

But I was wondering what kind of process I need to go through to get it published!? As well as what it takes to get it popularized!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Join a writer's group or attend a writer's conference to get other opinions on your book!.

Go to the library or bookstore and get Guide to Literary Agents (Writer's Digest) or look online for a list of agents!. Look for those that specialize in fantasy and are looking for new clients!. Read, and follow, their submission guidelines!. But first, learn how to write a query letter!. It is part synopsis of the book, and part explanation as to why your book deserves to be published!. Take the time to make it a killer letter!. That is what you will send to the agent!. Expect it to take lots of time, and expect many rejections!. It is not the end of the world to get rejected by an agent!. When you get accepted, the agent will submit your book to the publisher!.

This assumes that after your editing, and the manuscript is printed out properly (look online to see how to do it), it is proofread by someone who knows what they are doing (don't rely just on spellcheck)!.

Good luck! Www@QuestionHome@Com
