So Im writing at a 10th-11th grade level!. I need to write a creative Horror Story for a reading that will happen at the middle school I attend and the local high school!. The introduction ALWAYS messes me up!. How should I start it!? In a dream!? a moment of suspence!? or what!?! ahh

My breath plumed out in front of me like an old machine spewing smoke only it was my hard breathing reacting with the cold air!. I had been running form IT!. IT was after me forcing me to run down the alley away from it all but I hadn't escaped yet!. IT was still after haunting me like a tall looming ghost, taking my breath away and forcing it to come out it quick tattered breaths!.!.!. continue but don't give too much then start back at the beginning like this!.!.!. I woke to the sweet dew after floating to my nose!. Sweet dew smell circulated though the room waking me up and refreshing me!. I got out of bed quickly slipped on my warm brown slippers and headed downstairs!.!.!. etc you'll get it!. It helps me a lot when Im stuck because it creates an interesting beginning that you can do anything with!.
