Question: Unusual name for Harry Potter!?
Just love short stories!.!.!.!.!.well this one is actually extra credit!. Since I clearly need it I am going to make one!. We had certain guidelines and topics to choose from!. The one I chose was "Pick your favorite novel and add at least 1 character, 1 conflict, 1 new setting etc!. I chose Harry Potter series because there are endless possibilities and I know that book pretty good!. Since my mom and I have been reading them since forever, and because there are endless possibilities!
So I decided to have it follow The Goblet of Fire just because thats when D!. Army starts!.
I really can't add details because it is way to complicated!. But I want to add a character who sort of connects with Harry but no one really trust her at first because she was almost put in Slytherin but she secretly didn't want to!. (Thats how I am going to make harry and her connect!.!.!.) I am going to make her the daughter of Bellatrix but "my character" is unaware and is Bellatrix!. The only person who knows is Dumbledore, and I still dont know how I am going to have him find out!.!.!.
But I really need like a name for this character!.
I will describe her, she is darking and courageous (which puts her in Griffindor)!. She comes off like a bad person, but she isnt!. Her looks are dark hair, green eyes, tan skin!.!.!.She is adopted by muggles (still not sure how that happened but it did) she is smart and tends to make saracastic comments
I can't go into much detail because it is way to complicated and long!.
Anyone have some names that would go with her!?

Now to answer your name question!. Because she is the daughter of Bellatrix Black, and therefore a member of the Black clan then her name is mostly like after a star or constellation!. for example
Sirius-the dog star
Regulus-also a constellation
Narcissa, Andromeda and Bellatrix are all constellations!.
likewise is Draco!.
SO
Research Greek or Roman Mythology, find out which characters are subsequently turned into constellations!.
or go onto mugglenet!. or the harrypotter lexicon, read the black family tree (which was released by JK Rowling) and find a distant ancestor of Bellatrix whom she would've named her only child after!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Wait!.!.!. Bellatrix cannot be unaware that she had a daughter unless she was unconscious throughout the pregnancy!. Maybe I just misunderstood what you said, but it sounded odd!.
Well, Rowling's names normally have some sort of mythological background!. So research mythology and pick a name!.

I think it was already said, but all the Blacks are named after a constellation!. So, if your character is the daughter Bellatrix her name could be something like Hydra,Lyra, Vela ( vee-la), or Ara ( air-uh), which are all names of star constellations!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
