"The Guardians of Gadiel" series by Kathleen Morgan (Fantasy, haven't decided whether or not I love it or hate it, have to wait until I read the next book!.)

"Legends of the Guardian-King" series by Karen Hancock (Fantasy) this book is not for little kids and if you have teenagers I would mark off certain parts!. there are some sex scenes well not like what you get in the Movies, but just enough that you might not want you kid reading!. the Author does it to show the consequence's of sex before marriage!. Good lessons!.

I would suggest Poison Study, Magic Study, and Fire Study by Maria V!. Snyder!. I really thought this was a great fantasy/romance series!.!.!.!.definitely good v evil with magic as a big factor!. Plenty of action too!. also the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon which is about a nurse from 1945 who is transported back in time to a war torn Scotland of 1743!. also the Eragon series by Christopher Paolini about dragons and dragon riders, elves etc - more fantasy than romance, but still good!. I have listened to all of these on Audible and they are wonderful to listen to!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

ughh!.!.whatever you do; DO NOT READ TWILIGHT!.
It's a terrible superficial book!.

A good book for young readers would be Maximum Ride, not a lot of Romance, but it's by James Patterson
And if you're older a really good book would be Liars and Thieves by Stephen Coonts, it doesn't have much Romance but it's a really great book!.
And finally, Murder is a girl's best friend by Amanda Matetsky, it has romance in it, I think!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Anything by V!.C Andrews is great, but they aren't fantasy though!. I love the Deltora Quest by Emily Rodda is absolutely beautiful!. Otherwise, go to this websie http://www!.romanticsf!.com/ they have the best novel selection!. I chose what book I'm going to read for the week off there and go down to my local library and hire it out!. I've never been disappointed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hi !
The Ghormenghast trilogy by Mervyn Peake ;
http://en!.wikipedia!.org/wiki/Gormenghast!.!.!.
TitusGroan
Gormenghast
TitusAlone
http://en!.wikipedia!.org/wiki/Titus_Groan!.!.!.

Plot introduction
The book is set in the huge castle of Gormenghast, a vast landscape of crumbling towers and ivy-filled quadrangles that has for centuries been the hereditary residence of the Groan family and with them a legion of servants!.
At the beginning of the novel, two agents of change are introduced into the stagnant society of Gormenghast!.
The first, more obvious agent of change is Titus Groan, the heir to Lord Sepulchrave, the seventy-sixth Earl of Groan!. His birth interrupts the daily rituals which are practiced at all levels of the castle society, from the kitchens to the Hall of Bright Carvings in Gormenghast's upper reaches!. However, the novel only covers the first two years of Titus' life, and he plays a minor role!.
The second is Steerpike, a ruthlessly ambitious kitchen boy, who is the driving force for the plot of Titus Groan!. His entry into Gormenghast society, at the same time as Lord Titus is born, introduces a steady rate of change into a stagnant world!.

Plot summary
The second book follows the story of Titus from the age of seven to seventeen!. As the novel opens Titus, as the 77th earl and lord of Gormenghast, dreads the life of pre-ordained ritual that stretches before him!. Barquentine as Master of Ritual, and Steerpike his apprentice, are seen by Titus as the embodiment of all he wants to rebel against!.

Plot summary
The story follows Titus' journey in the world outside Gormenghast Castle, having left his home at the end of the second book!.
Finding himself lost, he suddenly discovers exactly how outdated his home really was, as he stumbles into a city of strange technological marvels, of shimmering metal and glass buildings, whose inhabitants travel by motorcar and airplane — and yet which also houses an entire culture of outcasts beneath the city itself in the "Under-River"!. The book also includes themes more usual to dystopian science fiction, such as marked inequality of wealth and involuntary euthanasia, and in many ways anticipates the steampunk genre!.

you disgust me!. Morally decent!? Please! Twilight is as morally decent as it gets!. Since reading twilight some of my friends have decided that they only want to have sex with someone they really love and most likely after marriage!.

please tell me how that is NOT morally decent!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

on second thought: uh I should have read the rest of your question before I answered previously - skip my suggestions!. I would not say they are morally decent although they are not trashy or down right X rated!. Sorry -

My original suggestions: Try Magic Bites and Magic Burns - by Ilona Andrews!.!.!.enjoy or any of the books by Gena Showalter!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Try pretty much anything by Diana Wynne Jones!. Some of hers have more romance than others, but all have a little, and all have plenty of fantasy and action!. For more romance, maybe try "A Sudden Wild Magic"Www@QuestionHome@Com

"In a Dark Wood Wandering" by Hella S!. Haasse

"The Bride of Stone" by Thomas Williams is excellent!. The quote on the back cover reads, "Discover a world where statues come to life and empires fall at a whisper!.!.!.but love survives!."Www@QuestionHome@Com
