AGAIN, SPOILER WARNING IN THE FOLLOWING QUESTION!!!

Okay, so you know how Edward was all suicidal about loosing Bella and went all they way to Italy to provoke the Volturi!? Well!.!.!.couldn't he just have flung himself into a bonfire or something since they pretty much burn to their doom!? Eh, don't get mad at me about suggesting this to poor Ed, I was just wondering!. :]Www@QuestionHome@Com

No he wouldn't have!. In order to kill a vampire you have to either have another vampire or a werewolf rip them into pieces THEN burn them so he would need someone to cooperate and rip him apart

I think that that would go against instincts and it isn't possible!. Like, "not even a fool can let himself drown!." Plus, it would take forever; little pieces burn faster, and you can't rip yourself apart!.
