Have you tried any books by Sarah Waters!? She wrote The Night Watch and Tipping the Velvet!. And wasn't Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit about a lesbian character!? I may be wrong about that one - can't quite remember!.

The best thing for you to do would be to go to your local library and see if they have a gay and lesbian section there!. You're bound to find a load of books that may be of interest!. Or if you go online to Amazon and do a search!.
