Twilight and Harry Potter?

Question: Twilight and Harry Potter!?

I really like both books, but for a English assignment, you have to do a book report!. Should I do Twilight or HP!? Help!Www@QuestionHome@Com

There's no competition!. Harry Potter is so much more complex and rich!. There's so much to say about it, and so many ways to look at it!. The characters are a subject all on their own!. I could write a book about the Death Eaters alone!. And there's also the different relationships, the mysteries that only unravel in the end, and the way they affect the story, the evolution of the three main characters and even of other minor characters!. Seriously, I can't imagine what you;d have to say about Twilight!. It's just a book that fulfills young girls' fantasies!. We've all enjoyed it at one point, but that's about it!. It is in no way intellectually challenging!.

I've read both, and Twilight does not have a plot!. ITs mainly just about 2 people growing close to each other, even though they can't have the other!. Harry Potter will be so much easier because they're are more challenges, more characters, and your able to write about it more!. With Twilight (which i LUV) its hard to realy describe whats going on, because its not something you can share!. Harry Potter on the other hand has complex characters, a complex plot and it will be easier than doing Twilight in my opinionWww@QuestionHome@Com

Listen to Nix Gaunt Lestrange!. She is right!. Twilight is a good book!. But in no way intellectually challenging whatsoever!. Harry Potter is much more complex etc!. As for those who say compare to Jane Austen or P&P, I'm afraid Meyer will never ever achieve the greatness of Austen!. Sorry, but Austen is by far the better writer!.

I would suggest taking the assignment as an opportunity to read new books!. Here's a suggested list!.

Twilight you could make great comparisons between the Bella/Edwards love and Romeo/Juliet or many of the Jane Austin books, but Agent Casper is right!. HP really does have a better plot!. J!.K!. Rowling put so much effort and detail into her stories!. It's endless what you could talk about in a report!. You could create a diagram of a quidditch field or hand out samples of Butter Beer (without the alcohol of course)!. It's really endless what you could do!. Twilight was written in three months!. Although it was fun, it just doesn’t compare to HP!. Good Luck

Definitely go with Harry Potter!. I've never read the Twilight book series(I probably will eventually) but,I know that Harry potter is ten times better then almost any other book series I've ever read!. The question you have to ask your self is which do you like better!? and which one do you feel would make a better report!?

All the girls love Twilight and a lot like HP, do something different, a book like of Mice and Men, Lord of the Flies or something else!. But, if you feel you HAVE to do HP or Twilight, do HP!.
