Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
1!. She learns to be honest - it's what Atticus tries to teach her throughout the book, to search for the truth and believe only that, not all of the rumors going around!. Examples:
- Atticus teaches his children to tell the truth when he says “Nobody’s hushing this up!. I don’t live that way…I can’t live one way in town and another way in my home,” on page 273-274 (in my edition, anyway)!.
- At the beginning of the book Scout believes in the rumors that Boo “dined on raw squirrels and any cats he could catch…his hands were bloodstained…there was a long jagged scar that ran across his face,” (page 13 in my edition of the book)

2!. She learns about the prejudice in the world, and how she should never succumb to thinking in that way!.
- I don't have any specific examples of this, but i'm sure that there are good quotes all throughout the book with what Atticus says about the trial and Tom Robinson!. I believe that there should be a good quote about racism/predjudice on the last page before part 2 of the book!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
