Amir may be the main character, but there are other characters who are important because of their relationship with Amir: Baba, Hassan, Assef, Sohrab, Rahim Khan, and Soraya!. I think that Rahim Khan helped Amir by giving him the chance to make things right!. And Soraya helped him by loving and supporting him, even though Amir often thought himself unworthy!. And Sohrab, as an extension of Hassan gave Amir the chance to save someone who needed saving and to do the right and brave thing!. Baba lived his life with dignity, and held a set of values that never wavered even in the face of danger, I think that as an adult Amir recognized these qualities as admirable and it helped him become strong when he most needed to be!. With Assef everything came full circle, as a boy Amir was unable to stand up for Hassan but in the end he was able to stand up for Sohrab, thereby gaining if not fully some redemption!. I loved this book, I thought is beautifully written and very thought provoking!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I liked the book and the movie until the rape scene!. That sorta disgusted me!. When the bully pulled both of his and Amirs pants down, and started raping him while the bullies two friends held Amirs friend down!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
