I've read almost every single one of Shakespeare's plays!. I've read the Harry Potter books over 30 times!. I've just finished reading Wuthering Heights and before I started the Twilight series, I read Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility!. I have also read most of Charles Dickens' work so don't dare attempt to belittle Twilight readers that way!.

Reading something that YOU think is badly written, or whatever your reason is for not liking it, does not mean that it makes people who do like it, dense and mentally incapable, if that's what you're trying to imply!. I don't read Twilight over and over again because I am some brainless idiot who would struggle making sense of words containing more than three syllables, or someone who does not know when to use a semi-colon or even a comma for that matter, I read the books because I love the plot!. Admittedly, they're nowhere near the standard of the classics, but as far as literature today is concerned, they are extremely good!.

Do not undermine people's intelligence based on your opinions of a book!. Besides, how is this question going to help anyone in later life!? No-one really cares what YOU think!.

I've read A series of unfortunate events, the Stravaganza series, the Clique series, that Princess Academy book, Code Orange, Sarah Dessen books, Meg Cabot books, I tried reading the last Harry Potter book, but I couldn't finish it!.!.!.Lol!. Yes i have read other books!. In fact i am reading the inkheart series And harry potter series right now!. And i can write just fine!. Truth be told i love the story of Twilight but her writing could be better!. But just because we all like to read a book doesn't mean we all have the same oppions and don't read anything but it!.

I must say, i used to love Twilight, and don't worry i have read Sarah Dessen's books, HOWEVER i have read Antigone, The orange Girl, Kite Runner, Death and the Maiden, The Rainbow, To kill a mocking bird, Life of Pi!.!.!.things by paulo Cohelo!.!.!.I've read alot, when compared to other people my age, and i love reading!.!.!.
Howver i have the times where i wann read Franz Kafka, and times when i want to read Gossip Girl Twilight and silly stuff like that!.!.!.

Of course they have, what a ridiculous question!. I've read thousands of books!. I'm allowed to get excited about one trashy, poorly written cupcake series!. It doesn't mean I don't also enjoy Faulkner and Conrad, it just means I'm not a book snob!.

I don't think so!. I once asked a question that was sort of a poll and I found that 9/23 answerers either never read a lot before Twilight and/or still don't like to read but like Twilight!.
