If you are writing by hand (ink or pencil) then you underline book titles!. If you are typing, then put book titles in italics!. The names of poems or short stories are put with quoations!.Chapter headings would be like short stories!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ok, underlining something on notebook paper indicates that it should be italicized when typed!. In this case, you would italize every book title, which means you would underline it if you're writing it on paper!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Underline ALL titles of books, but italicize the names of articles, vehicles (like Voyager 2), authors of quotes, and sections from a book (which have to be sited with the underlined title anyways)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
