One of my very favorite books is 'Wuthering Heights'!. The novel deals with the strongest emotions that can come into play: love and hatred!. Emily Bronte was pretty young when she wrote this book, which is unusual considering the complexity of the characters and the very powerful psychological and emotional elements that fill it!.

The amount of turbulent feelings among the characters creates a singular aura of hopelessness and oppression around the book!. Even the feeling of the opening chapter foreshadows some of the tragic events that happen later in the book!.

Well, as I said before, 'Wuthering Heights' is one of my very favorite books!. Emily Bronte was a very talented author!. It's strange that the Bronte sisters could write novels with such dramatic and tragic events along with such an understanding of the emotions of their characters when they themselves hardly experienced any of it!. I guess that is the mark of a truly talented author!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

ihave read Jane Eyre and Wutherinh Heights and both are magnificent!.However,my favorite by far is Wuthering Heights!.Although at the beginning it van become quite boring it is a spectacular book!.Just to persuade you,it talks about prohibited love!.the heroes are multiple and it describes love between them and mostly love between Catherine Hernshaw and Heathcliff and its impact on the other people!.it has an air of mystery and it's so tragic and hopeful at the same time,i think you'll love itWww@QuestionHome@Com

_The Tenant of Wildfell Hall_ is the least of these books: the portrait of the alcoholic is very memorable, but the book is a little obvious!. _Wuthering Heights_ has the purest poetry in it, and its heightened view of romance tinged with sadism is a ne plus ultra of gothicism!. Heathcliff and Catherine love in ways and with a totality than most of us can only imagine!. _Jane Eyre_ is a feminist classic, but for me after she gets out of the school, the book diminishes in intensity!. Jane Eyre herself is well understood and memorable and closer to what anyone's life might be life, however; I wonder if us guys all have to brought down like Mr!. Rochester before worthies ike Jane will marry us!. I hope not--and there are no Grace Pooles in MY attic!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Jane Eyre, because it's a little less Gothic and more humdrum!. I tried to like Wuthering Heights, but I couldn't!. I read Tenant, too, but don't remember it!. However, I'm a strong Jane Austen fan, and Charlotte Bronte thought Jane Austen was too matter-of-fact!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
