You have the most amount of 'creativity' at this time as your brain is merging between conscious and unconscious!. Have a notepad besides the bed and when a thought really strikes you roll over and write it down, dont even open your eyes because it will go away!. This helps me when I have writers block (I'm studying professional writing, editing and publishing)!. Another thing I do is go over past experiences!. Or you could choose a subject for yourself, say use a flower in a story and base the flower as symbolism!. Or time, in Narrative time make only ten minutes go by, but try and get the characters entire life revealed in ten minutes by a near-death-experience-life-flashed-befor!.!.!. or -i-fell-in-love-and-all-past-loves-flash!.!.!. or even an eulogy!. Sometimes the best place to start is with the character!. You have to know your character really well before you can write a story about them - which one of the reasons so many writers put themselves or aspects of themselves in their main protagonists - so write a list of questions that will reveal your character to you and answer them, such as: -What do they have in their bathroom cabinet/fridge -what is their favorite color -did they have a happy childhood -how many brothers and sisters do they have -do they enjoy spending time with other people or alone -what is their worst experience -what are they afraid of -what do they want in a partner you know the sort, basic getting to know you questions!. Www@QuestionHome@Com I started writing in sixth grade i have wrote 14 books but my problem is typing and sending them!. Typing is way different story than writing!. But whenever I get riders block I either start a different book and then go back to that book!. Or i read a book till I get an idea from the book (then change it and make it my own idea!.) Or just come across another idea!. I think wiritng anything even if it is stupid is a good place to sart!. You'll probably write the first few pages or so and not like it and start all over but keep working at it and you'll eventually have something that sticks even if it ends up being a completely different story!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Hi Jessica!.!. Love that name!.!.:-) I used to LOVE writing poetry, through part of elementary into high-school I wrote!.!. Loved it!.!. I suggest re-thinking your story, write out a summery of it like you see it, then ask someone neutral to read it and write down what they would change!.!. Not everyone, but someone book-savey, like a journalist!.!. They usually have great insight to get you back on track!.!. Try the local newspaper!?!
