I like reading because it's relaxing and it allows me to escape!. It's peaceful!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com For me I like to read because it lets me escape into another world and get to know that character!. I too can spend an entire day reading books and I'll look at the time and realize I've been reading for five hours straight!. I just lose all track of time!. I always have a book in my purse and even if I get a spare five minutes I'm reading whether I'm waiting for something or on my lunch break!. I don't have a television so therefore I'm always reading!. Of course once I get everything done that I need to get done!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Yeah, sometimes, aside from work and events for a cause, id rather be reading than talking gossips about other people which usually happens when your with your homies!. Mainly because i learn new and exciting stuff, and it can make one's imagination run wild!. I try to have a balance on everything but sometimes a good book is hard to turn down and therefore it requires much of my time!. I also bring a book with me just so i can read something when im stuck in traffic or waiting for someone!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I always spend days reading! Sometimes I just completely blow everyone off to spend a day or two at home with a good book!. I like reading because it gets me out of the monotony of everday life!.!. it brings you somewhere new and exciting!. Or, sometimes it just lets you get into another persons shoes!. Their life may be just as monotonous as mine is, but it's new!. I've been know to read until 4 30 am, then be too tired to get up for class in the morning, and therefore I just don't go!. haha!. I always have a paperback on me as well!. Basically, I read to get away from it all!. This answer made me sound like a huge dork, but I DO have a social life! I remember procrastinating a whole schedule of things just so I could spend the whole day reading!
