Have read a lot by three authors lately: William Gibson, Christopher Moore and Sherman Alexie!.

Favorites so far by Gibson: 'Mona Lisa Overdrive' and 'Pattern Recognition,' the first a really great example of 'cyberpunk' (a phrase Gibson coined years ago), an exciting story involving cyberspace; the second overlapping cyberpunk with a bit more straightforward mystery, also very well done!.

Favorites by Moore so far: 'Coyote Blues' and 'Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal!.' All fantasy rooted in reality!.!.!. or is it the other way around!? Moore is a master of irony, satire and good storytelling!.

Favorites by Alexie so far: 'Reservation Blues' (reservations are, by nature, full of their corners of fantasy [or the fantastic]!.!.!.) and 'The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fight in Heaven!.' Alexie wrote those a bit earlier in his career, but they are still good!. This author is always a fine storyteller!.
I also very much liked his young adult novel 'The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian,' a really great book though not fantasy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
