Question: Where should I start with Albert Camus!?
I was looking to start reading him and I want something that best exemplifies his writing and themesWww@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
by all means start with "The Stranger" - it is a perfect, succinct, beautiful look not only at Camus' particular style but also at a decent allegory for the mundane reality of the indifferent universe!.!.!.!.love that book
(keep in mind, Camus is doing something very specific with this book, so it is a little less novel-like and more tightly organized, but still reflective of his overall voice)

then I would go on to "The Plague" for a taste of Camus' more expansive literary style and then "A Happy Death" for a more literary look at themes presented in "The Stranger"

don't forget non-fiction: his essay "Myth of Sisyphus" explores the absurd nature of existence!.!.!.or at least an approach to it

Happy reading!! :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
