Question: She borowed my book! What should I do!?
My friend, Christina is a spoiled brat - that loves reading like me!. I have an issue with books: 1!. highly addicting 2!. I don't want my books, bent, ripped, scrunched, or anything like nose snot or soda spilled on it!. I know that's being real snippy and all but that's me!. Christina asked me if she could borrow one of my books!. I said yes even if I meant no, and I recommended one of my favourites "The Goose Girl" by Shannon Hale!. She took it home!. I told my mom that she did, and I was worried (you know that feeling when something terribly bad has happened even if you're not so sure)!. My mom said that she would drive me to Christina's house to pick up the book!. I called her and told her that she has to read it quickly cause I would come this weekend for it!. She said that she left in in her locker where she stuffs a bunch of food in! She also scammed me and said: "I'm not sure you can come this weekend, I need to go find a costume!. And next weekend, is my friend's party!.!.!.!.And the weekend after that is Halloween and I'm having a sleepover!." That seems like I won't be getting it back in about a month, and when a month passes, she'll make a bunch of new excuses of why I can't get it back!!! Ugh she's soo spoiled! She knew that she would be busy, so she asked to borrow a book, to keep it!!! Have I mentioned that the book she borrowed is my favourtie!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Go over to her house when you know she will be there and ask for the book back!. Say it's your favorite and you want it back!. She should not have borrowed It since she has 'such' a busy schedule!. Tell her to get it from the library!. I love that book and other from Shanon Hale, so I understand why you would not want someone mistreating it!. I'm very protective of my books, lol!.
Good luck!

Wow! She IS spoiled! I totally agree with you, I don't like getting something in worse condition than I left it in!. So I wouldn't say that you're acting snippy!. Lolz! As for Christina !. !. !. just tell her to give it back!. DEMAND it!!! Otherwise tell her mother that she has a book of yours that you want back soon!. Poor you, I feel so bad!. I think that it's a bit rude that if you know you won't be able to read a book you borrowed anytime soon, don't borrow it till you wanna read it! She seems like a not-very-good-friend!. (no offense!!!)Www@QuestionHome@Com
