Question: The book Tithe by Holly Black!?
So I'm considering reading it, but I'm not sure!. Can anyone tell me if its a good book!? Does it have romance in it!? I like fantasy/romance genres by the way!. And whats the order to read the three in!? Because I know there is also Ironside and Valiant!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you like fantasy/romance i think you'll really enjoy this book
It focuses heavily around the idea of faeries and their courts (Seelie and Unseelie) and there is a strong love interest of the main character thats central to the story

However, it is quite dark so if you like things really light and cotton-candy than perhaps give it a miss

Though i'd give it a try!.!. i personally couldn't put it down!

oh and by the way it goes
Tithe
Valiant
Ironside

However Valiant is a companion novel rather than a sequel!.!. i personally didn't like it as much as it didn't focus around the characters i learnt to love in Tithe!
hope this helps :)

Its relatively quick and easy to read and usually theres no harm in trying it out! :) It has plenty of romance, but it isnt *about* the romance if you know what I mean!. Its more subtle, kind of a subplot to the more interesting fairy court intrigue!. Theres lots of fairies and fantasy elements and I found this to be one of the best urban fantasies I've read!. I also agree with Karina, these are dark fairies ,not happy dandy ones, and a lot of the events are too- a little bit perverted , violent, or just disturbing, but its nothing too frigtening, just be warned!.
Once you've read it and really liked it, I suggest reading Ironside next , since it is the technical sequel, and then reading Valiant for background info on the new characters from Ironside!.
And Ironside ( or at least in my opinion) is a little brighter, but Valiant is much worse with sex, drugs, murder, and the like!

( PS: As for the difference b/w versions, I think they have a new cover!.!.!. )Www@QuestionHome@Com
