Forever is a good book about young love, lust and the decisions/work of building a successful relationship!. Characters and conversations are realistic and the situations show the positive and negative sides of growing up!. As for character likeability, I preferred the secondary characters (Erica, Sybil, etc!.) to the main characters (Katherine, Michael)!.

While I enjoyed reading the book, I do not feel it is as good as some of Blume's other novels (ie!. Just as long as we're together and Tiger Eyes)!.
