1!. A
Rebecca Nurse came to see Betty when she was "sick" and said that she was just throwing a childish fit and that she was faking!. So its not B or C!.

2!. B
Throughout the play (mostly at the end) John Proctor was struggling with the decision to either lie and admit he was a witch to save his life or die knowing that he was telling the truth!.

3!. B
Proctor is the farmer, Hale is the Reverend and witch expert from another town, and Putnam is one of the wealthy citizens of Salem!.

4!. A
Hale felt guilty for having to condemn people to death so he tried to redeem himself at the end of the play by trying to save John Proctor!.

I just read the play a few weeks ago and I really liked it!. I hope this helped you!
