Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
I would go for the unexpected and the suspense of a gradual reveal!. Perhaps your character gradually recalls flashes of the accident, beginning with waking up in the hospital "without a scratch"!. She could be continually haunted by more crash detail (visceral - sound, smell, the bite of metal) as she recalls the entire event!. Maybe these flashes of memory-guilt are provoked and brought forth in some meaningful way!.

Good luck!

PS: Please don't imitate anyone else's writing!. You can do it!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hope this helps:

Jasper was sitting on the passenger seat listening to the radio and enjoying the evening!. He looked over to his friend who was driving and asked, "Why do you always follow the speed limit while all the other cars are leaving you behind!?" Suddenly, the car in front break-lights came on and before Jasper could say anymore, he heard the screeching of brakes behind them and the shattering of glass before he lost conciseness!. I'd start the scene with people driving along!. normal conversation, nothing odd!.

suddenly!

Blazing lights, pure impact, bodies getting thrown around, crunching noises, shattering glass

Include tiny paragraphs!.

Short sentances!.

I'd make it a swirl of confusion, of senses and feelings and sounds!. No thinking, no self-reflection, not until its over!.

Then she shakily looks over, very disoriented, and sees Jasper's condition, describes his condition with nouns and verbs, few adjectives and no sentiment!.

then fear comes in!.

But that's just me, lol!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Who is she!? Wonder Woman!? She's going to come out with scratches, or whiplash, or something else along those lines!.

But pick up a book that you know describes a car crash and see how the author puts it into words!. And imitate them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
