Do you mean physical description!? There is very little description of her physical appearance!.

She's described right at the start of Chapter 15 as having had "thick, long hair"!. At the beginning of Chapter 7, her hair is described as "brown ringlets"!. Heathcliff describes it in Chapter 6 as "beautiful hair"!. (Sorry, I DO own the book, but I don't know where my copy is right now!. You can use the on-line version here: http://www!.literature!.org/authors/bronte!.!.!. but it doesn't give you page numbers, just chapters!.)

In Chapter 33 there is a description of Hareton and the young Catherine (Catherine Earnshaw's daughter) where Nelly describes them as resembling Catherine Earnshaw!.
"They lifted their eyes together, to encounter Mr!. Heathcliff: perhaps you have never remarked that their eyes are precisely similar, and they are those of Catherine Earnshaw!. The present Catherine has no other likeness to her, except a breadth of forehead, and a certain arch of the nostril that makes her appear rather haughty, whether she will or not!. With Hareton the resemblance is carried farther: it is singular at all times, THEN it was particularly striking; because his senses were alert, and his mental faculties wakened to unwonted activity!."

The younger Catherine is also described at one point as having "the Earnshaws' handsome!. dark eyes", so considering she is described later on as having her mother's eyes, I would presume that that means Catherine Earnshaw also had "handsome, dark eyes"!. (I do not remember the chapter off-hand, I will come back and add it if I can find it!.)

That's pretty much it for a physical description of Catherine Earnshaw, with the exception of being called beautiful in several different places!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
