Question: Could someone please explain to me why you think Twilight is such a great book!?
And the fact the you think Stephanie Meyer is "the greatest novelist ever!?" What exactly is so great about this book!? I think it has horrible cliches, terrible writing, and the worst descriptions ever!.

As a writer I try to give everything a chance, but this is ridiculous!. It's getting way too much hype!. Since when does a girl who claims people always thought she was unattractive move to a place where all of a sudden, everyone says she's beautiful!? And the glowing in the sunlight--wtf!?

Please--to those who love the book, why do you like it so much!? Am I missing something here!?

And to those who don't like it--am i justified in what I stated!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I hate those books!. Most people love it because of the unhealthy relationship between Edward Cullen and Bella!. If you actually analyze these characters, they turn out to be boring and dull!. Edward is abusive toward Bella, he stalks her, is over protecting, and likes to sniff which is disturbing not to mention he watches her sleep!. Girls are 'attracted' to the way Edward Cullen acts!. Like he only cares about Bella and would kill himself if he loses her, and how he is describes as "hot"!. Your right, the characters are all describes poorly!. All SMeyer states about Edward is how hot he is, his perfect hair, his crooked smile, blah blah blah!. And all Bella is describes as is a danger magnet, clumsy, pretty/ugly at the same time!. She butchered the whole vampire image basically!. Alice is there to dress up Bella as a barbie doll, Rosalie is there to make Bella feel intimidated!. I could go on and on but im going to stop now!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

I didn't find it all that well written!. The whole story has huge flaws but I still found it entertaining!. I don't think it deserves the hype that it's received, but she obviously has incredible marketing and that's the only real reason her book has done as well as it has!.
The characters are pretty 2-dimensional and have no personality!. But it's a modern day fairy tale where everyone ends up happily ever after!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm a hopeless romantic!. I'm not a critic at writing because I have no idea what the difference is between a good and bad sentence!.!. I don't care anyway!. It's my favorite book ever!! It just gets me hooked!.!. like a drug!. I NEED it!! :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

We all have different standards and most Twilight readers are 10-15 year old so they must not read books that you read!. Although there are older readers!. It just depends on your tastes!. I personally liked the book but it's not my favorite!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

well, this is just my opinion, but I think that readers, including myself, get addicted to the twilight saga because stephenie meyer writes about what teens want to hear!. I mean of course there's no such thing as vampires that live secretly among us or native americans who secretly turn into werewolves!. It's just so unreal and it's thrilling to teens!. It has edge, danger and things teens find more adventurous than anything they've experienced!. of course there's the unrealistically gorgeous boy falling in love with the average girl!. romance is so addicting and that's something that every girl wishes for!. Stephenie Meyer just keeps writing about things teens worldwide dream of!. But when you really look at it and break it down, i agree that it is full of cliches, and predictable endings!. I think Bella has no personality and is so vague, but then that way everyone can relate to her somehow!.

But I can honestly say that i've fallen in the trap, and I place the twilight saga among my favorite books!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
