Hmm!.!.!.well just thinking aloud here!.
But first there should be a love story between of course two people!. A girl!. A boy!. Simple enough!.
But then they always get complicated!. The problem is why!? There are many ways to answer that question!. I find the best way is of a difference!. Something happening in the outside world (fictional or nonfictional) that prevents them from being together!. Don't go for something like hes with another girl or any of that junk!. I mean you can if you want to but to me it lacks any deep meaning!.
Go for some other type of difference!. For example, in Twilight I never read the book but I THINK the guy is a vampire right!? In the same sense but more realistic terms depending on your view!. If you're going for something more fantasy then maybe there are two kingdoms fighting against each other and the girl and boy are from two different kingdoms!? Or else if you wanna go more realistic you could bring it to the time where there was division between humanity!. For example, there was slavery or else maybe war with Iraq!?
But the point is that make the problem be more emotional!. It'll get more into the mood :)

My advice would be write something you know!. You're 13 - how much romantic experience do you have!? If you don't have much, then don't write about it!. Chances are it'll be childish and unbelievable, and then you won't be taken seriously!. I definitely think you should write, but write something original and something you understand (and make it VERY different to Twilight)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm not going to give you any ideas, but I will give you some advice!. Do not, I repeat do not write your novel to be similar in any way to twilight!. It is honestly better to write something original!. I have never read twilight before, nor do I plan on reading it, so I can't really comment on it!. Just go with how you feel, a good story comes from your heart and soul!. Just write a few ideas down, jot down a few sentences!. Then go with the flow!.
