how come Jasper and Alice's powers work on Bella when the others don't!? Alice can see Bella's future, and Jasper can make her calm!.

Okay, so this question (And one of it's answers) annoyed me so much that I decided to make a profile just so I could answer!.
1!. It is not a 'Flaw' in the plot!.
2!. Do you actually read the books!?
3!. Sorry if I sound really grumpy!.

ITS EXPLAINED IN THE THIRD BOOK!.

I can't remember what it says exactlly but it's something like Alice and Jasper's powers arn't used directly on Bella and they don't really effect her mind in the same way that Jane and Edwards do!.
So, you could probably find it somewhere in Eclipse, I think it's near the end!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Because Bella has a private\closed mind so any power that involves power that involes your mind, it won't effect bella!. Alice's power works on Bella because!.!.!.well let me explain Alice's power!.!.!.
Alice can tell the future !.!.!.but it will be blocked of if it involves Jacob (cuz he's a werewolf ) or creatures such as Remesmee( read on to Breaking Dawn!. Shes half vampire half human)!. So Alice can only see the future if it involves humans and normal vampires!.

Meyer says it's because the formers' powers have to do with the mind, while the latter's powers are physical!. This doesn't make any sense whatsoever, but in Meyerland logic is unnecessary!. Her answer as to why Bella was immune in the first place was because she was just born that way!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Alice and Jasper's powers don't deal with the mind!. Bella's shield, in her human stage, is in her mind!. So no one can touch her mind!. Jane effects the person by messing with their MIND!. Edward reads people's MIND!. Anything to do about minds, Bella is immune to!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It explains this in the book!. Maybe Eclipse!? Apparently Bella is only immune to the psychological powers!. But!.!.!.!. mood is psychological, is it not!? lol

Bella is immune to all vampire powers that are involved with her mind!. Her mind is shielded from everyone else's!. But Alice and Jasper's powers don't really involved her "mind", so they can use their special powers on her ;)Www@QuestionHome@Com
