Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: eclipse is out in paper back and i'm not sure on breaking dawn is out!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Well, the paperback for Eclipse will be out in Chapters stores on May 5, 2009!. They haven't announced when Breaking Dawn is going to come out in paperback!. Generally, hardcovers are more expensive to make, but they sell for more!. More popular books tend to stay as hardcovers for much longer, in order to generate more money!. I think it's probably going to be at least a year, if not two years, then, for them to publish Breaking Dawn in soft cover!. Note: It took them eleven months to publish the paper back for Twilight!. (Oct 2005 - Sept 2006; the first date represents when the hardcover was published and the second date is when the paperback was released) It took them one year and eight months to publish the paper back for New Moon!. (Sept 2006 - May 2008) It'll take them about one year nine months to publish the paper back for Eclipse!. (Aug 2007 - May 2009) I found all this stuff on the Chapters website, with a little hunting =)Www@QuestionHome@Com Why would you want paper back!? Hard cover is so much easier to work with, and much more durable!. Since they are such large books eventually, after reading them a few times the spines would be totaled! I have read my copy of Twilight at least a half a dozen times and it is in horrible condition, and it's about half the size of Breaking Dawn!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Don't know, but I'll tell you this- Publishers release hardcover first, because they cost a lot more, and when sales slow down, they release the paperback version, hoping by then that we've all ruined our hardcover copies enough to re-buy the book, and are enticed by the lower price of the paperback enough to do so!.
