Question: Wait!. Why didn't Harry Potter use time travel to save Sirius, Dumbledore, etc!.!?

So in the wizarding world, time travel is so trivial that Hermione uses it just to keep up on her classes!. But they couldn't, I don't know, use it to go back and warn Sirius and Dumbledore and all the other people who end up dead!? Gee, aren't those slightly more important than Hermione's ability to get good grades!? I'm just asking!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

And why didn't Voldemort use it to keep Harry from being conceived or send one of his minions to steal him when he was born or to even to stop himself from attempting to kill Harry at the time so that he would have still been powerful!. Because, as i believe, Hermione gave the Time Turner back to McGonagol at the end of the year!. I think they all agreed that it was too much trouble, and besides, the M!.O!.M technically owned it!. Hermione would have had to purchase her own to be able to keep it!. But, to answer your question, she didn't have it at the time!. It most definitely would ahve been nice, but sadly, they couldn't be spared!. :( also, like the next answerer says, they DID break all time turners!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Using Time Turners is very risky!. If they used it, they could have had many problems!. also, using Time Turners need to be approved by the Ministry, since they own all of them, and the Ministry didn't want to let the Wizarding World that Sirius death was caused by The Dark Lord because they didn't want people to know that he was back!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

but also, if hermione did that, the books
will either end up focusing on hermione when the titles are harry potter and!.!.!.
change what rowling wanted her book to be; create a different storyline; harry wouldnt have been independent, etc
the story would end right there rowling wouldnt have made millions more dollars!.

There are a lot of rules governing the use of time turners!. Plus, they are really rare!. Hermione returned hers to McGonagall at the end of the 3rd year and in OotP, they actually smashed the Ministry's stock of time turners when they went there to supposedly rescue SiriusWww@QuestionHome@Com

You can't change the future by changing the past!. Too many things are at risk!. Hermione even explained it to Harry!. What if Sirius saw himself, or two harrys!? Dark magic would be his first Instinct and no to mention the danger!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
