It completely depends on what the story is about!. If it is just about a character going on some wild unexpected adventure, then either is okay, but the first one is more likable!. However, the best stories are also about the characters, and if the characters don't go through some change by the end, it will not be nearly as good!. If you decide to do a story that is character-driven, character B would be easier, as the stereotypes are stronger(she could be a b****)!. Although I suppose for character A, she could care so much about grades and stuff that she misses out on experiences and perhaps doesn't have any real close friends!.
Both characters are pretty generic until you define their personality!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
I think i would go with character A, but it really does depend on how you develop it!. From reading the description, I find character A more likable (for some reason), but depending on personality and basic character traits this could go either way!. The reason i think that character A is better is that he/she is much less typical!. the number of books that have character B in them is crazy! However, you could make character B the most intriguing character ever!. Good luck writing a story!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
It depends on what the character is doing in the story!. Character A sounds like the protagonist in most stories I've read/seen about schools while Character B sounds like a typical antagonist in those stories!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
Character A definitely!. Character B is too superficial!.

I would go with character B, mostly because character A is far too overdone these days!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
