Question: What's the best way to write a book based on family history when all you have are pictures and stories!?

I'd just go with the stories, as you've heard them!. I think if they're interesting enough no one would really mind if they've been embellished a bit over the years, as people's memories have faded and they might not remember things as they really happened!. I think most people expect old family lore to be somewhat "enhanced" over time!. If you have different versions of the same story from different sources then maybe you could sort of blend them together into one story, or present the basics of a particular story and say, "But So-and-So remembers it differently!. Here's what she said!.!.!." and go from there!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
