Yep, no matter how old you get, you'll still
be fascinated by the incredible writing of JK Rowling!
The books are so creative, and full of imagination!
The characters are kind of like little kids, but they are really mature, Like, Harry has gone through so much, and has experienced soo much grief in his life!.!.!. Technically, he's like 25 years old! :0

I think that, both the books and the movies are good!
Although, the books are better than the movies, because the
movies are more condensed!.

OMG, you have the same B-day as Harry!?!? That's so cool! :)
See, that means that you were meant to be a Harry Potter fan! :)

Hope this helped! Www@QuestionHome@Com

I loved the books even though I'm in my twenties!. Although the characters are young, its a great story!. The characters may be young, but you can still enjoy the series!. Since the story has 7 books, you can see them growing up facing various issues!. I loved the movies and can't wait for the next one to come out next year!. I would recommend the book because the movies sometimes leave things out but they are entertaining to watch!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You're not old!. And yes, I think everyone can relate to Harry Potter as a character!. Remember, he may be a kid in the first book, but he's a man by the last one, as his circumstances require him to mature!. It's a great transformation to watch and you get so into the story and attached to the characters through Rowling's writing that it's quite amazing!.
I definitely suggest the books over the movies!. The movies don't get the depth of the characters or plot as well as the books, though they are pretty good movies!. Definitely read the books!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Of course you're not "too old!."

Harry Potter can be read by anyone!. Besides, once you get a little further in and the characters start getting older, you should be able to relate just fine!.

The books are SO much better than the movies!. Alone, the movies would be decent, but since the books are better!.!.!.!. Besides, the movies leave out characters (no Peeves! How disappointing) and scenes, and they changed some scenes to the point they were hardly recognisable!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

yeah im 22, n i like reading them!. i have also read the Obernewtyn Chronicles by Isobelle Carmody they are really good books ive read them a couple of times, and also the legendsong trilogy by isobelle aswell!.

you should read the book if you liked the movie, if you read the book first and like it you might'n like the movie coz they take out a lot of stuff and change it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Harry Potter is ageless and transcends time!.The characters aren't little kids!. Harry is ages 11 through 17 throughout the series!. The books are relatable to everyone and very entertaining, because they cover important themes in human nature, like love, fear, choices, friendship, and many others and have intricate well-done plots and exquisite characters!. Enjoy!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Harry Potter is a good series for all ages!. I started reading them when I was in third grade and finished them when I was sixteen!. I still love them a year later!. My brother who's three years younger loves them; my ten year old sister loves them; my forty year old mother loves them!. My creative writing teacher loves them!. It is a book for all ages!. And the characters being young in the beginning just makes it all the better when they grow up!. Harry Potter is one of my favourite book series of all time!. Second only to The Lord of the Rings!. You will definitely be missing out if you don't read them!.

The movies are horrible and if you see them before reading the books, it would be horrible!. The books are incredibly and the movies are sickening!. All of the child actors are horrible after the first two movies!. The adult actors are great with the exception of the Dumbledore that isn't Richard Harris!.

Despite what others may say, do not under any circumstances think that Twilight is similar to Harry Potter!. Twilight is an easy read that will infuriate you because of the lack of plot and annoying main character!. Harry Potter is and always will be better than Twilight!. Don't listen to the fangirls!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

they are not really little kids as they are very mature and deal with very mature things throughout the books!. also by the end they are 17-18 which is not much younger than you!.

also, I have known many adults that enjoyed the books as much as kids I know!.

also the BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS!.!.!.thought the movies are good, they will never compare with the books and the movies leave quite a bit out!. SO I say, go read 'em!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If the writing is good ( in your opinion, but I think it is :) then you shouldnt have any problems relating!. You were once 11-17, weren't you!? And the plot and other characters may catch your interest too!. For example, I just read Pullman's His Dark Materials!. The main characters are 12-13, and I'm older than that, but I still loved it!. I had no problem getting into what was happening and identifying with the characters!. And you're not that much older than HP!.!.!. :) Read it, you wont be dissapointed!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

In Harry Potter it is harder to realize how old they are because they act so much older than they really are!. I think you will enjoy it!. There are many adults out there that read it as well!.

Read the books then the movies, so you can critique the movies better!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

The books are definitely better than the movies!. I think you would enjoy the books!. Although they are long, they aren't dense or hard to read!. also, the books tend to get a little more mature as they go on, but you should give them a try!. I'm 18 and I love them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

im 24 and have only just read them, so your def not too old lol!.
id say read the books first then the movies!. the movies are not perfect but still really good fun, and have enough info to keep you on track, but books first!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I doubt it, at least I didn't enjoy it!.

There are a lot of better works of fantasy out there and you're old enough to be interested in a more complex book!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think the books are horribly written and the movies are just plain bad!. Except for the costuming, sets, and adult cast (alan rickman, maggie smith!.!.!. are worth the watch!. Just fast forward to their scenes!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com

The books are better than the movies!. You get to be the character and read what the characters go through!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
