Question: Stickers on book covers!?
Just wondered if anyone knows a good way of removing adhesive labels from the inside of book covers without it leaving residue on the paper, tearing the book etc!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I used to work at a used book store, and we had to do this all the time!. We'd actually use lighter fluid, then place the book sticker-side down and wait it!. It usually slides right off, depending on how firmly it's entrenched!. It also dries and leaves no stain or scent!. I've done it a million times!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

if its directly on the paper and not on the harder cover this may not work!. but i usually get a wet cloth and hold it on so that the sticker and glue absorb the water and slide of more easily!.

random but it works :]Www@QuestionHome@Com

Be Careful!!! I hate it when shops do this to books!!! AGH!

If its a plastic cover (ONLY IF!!) it would be good to use white spirits or nail varnish remover (do not use on a noramal cover!.!.!.it will remove the over!.!.!.!.Or try straight (not with water) washing up liquid!.!.!.!.hope this helps!. =DWww@QuestionHome@Com

First, I peel off a little bit of the label,
and then use a blow-dryer on it while
slowly peeling it off!. That's the best way
to do it, I found (:

I hope this helps!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Someone told me to take a razor blade and gently lift the tag of then wipe gently with a rag dipped with rubbing alcohol to remove the glue mark!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
