It was first published in 1973 and I think it's set around that time!.
It's Judy Blume not Bloom!.
And it's a young adult book!.
It's just about a girl who's 13 or 14 I can't remember which, but she gets diagnosed with a spine disorder (scoliosis) and she has to wear a hideous back brace for a few years!. She always dreamed of being a model and now because of the back brace she has to put that on hold!.
So it's about her, her dreams being broken and how to deal with typical teenage life with the brace!. (you know, stuff like school, other girls, growing interest in boys etc!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com
