Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: My mother used to read me Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit stories!. I also enjoyed Enid Blyton's Faraway Tree stories!. They make me smile just remembering reading them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com When my sister and I were growing up, story time was after dinner, sitting with our Dad on the couch in the front room!. He read folk-tales, fairy-tales, Alice in Wonderland, James Thurber's "The Thirteen Clocks", Margaret Wise Brown's "Pussy-Willow", and many other favorites!. Other times, our Grandma would read to us---our favorites were a Little Golden Book of Mother Goose Rhymes, illustrated with the Walt Disney cartoon characters, and the story of Grandpa Bunny, who painted the Easter Eggs and the sunsets!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I liked to hear the Cinderella story also Snow White why I really don't know but I enjoyed them a lotWww@QuestionHome@Com I can't remember the name of it, but it's about this owl and a firefly doing shenanigans in the night!.
