Question: Writing a book, help me please!.!?

I'm going to start writing a book, and I need to know what to write about!. The problem is, whenever I get what I think is a "Surefire" idea, a day later, I absolutely loathe the idea!. I need a good serious book idea!.

You should write a book about a group of teenage witches!. They are into spells and magic powers!. Well after a few events, they are transported back to ancient times!. They are in ancient Greece where all the myths are true!. They are unable to find their way back!. Only the Merfolk now how to get them back home!. They become friends and then they ban together with Merfolk to fight against Hades or some other evil god!. The Merfolk use magic powers and the teen witches use spells!. After they win, the Merfolk are able send the teenage witches home!. Maybe some will stay in ancient Greece, the others will go home to present times!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well the topics seem like they belong together in the fantasy genre!. Now you need to think of Characters and plot lines!. Remember that a story is something like: "The King died!." A plot is: "The King died because the Queen died!." A story just tells you the facts and kind of just flows!. A plot keeps readers interested and leave them wanting more!.

Your guideline ideas sound alot like "Harry Potter"!. You need to be careful as Harry Potter is very popular and you don't want to be accused of plagerism!. Perhaps try reading other magic books, start with the classics such as King Arthur!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, but if we had a serious good book idea we wouldn't just give it to you, now would we!? You don't exactly sound like an experienced writer!. If somebody had an idea then they'd surely use it themselves!? You can't just take it!. It'd have copyright!.
