Because they don't actually have boyfriends and haven't actually experienced stalking or a violent boyfriend!. Extreme 'love' is not romantic- neither is believing the object of your desires is perfect!. Love is recognising someone's faults and loving them despite that (clumsiness and vampirism aren't faults)!. The only faults Meyer's characters have is shallow ones, which have nothing to do with emotions/the mind!. Edwrad is only beautiful because we are told this every line!. If she didn't describe his looks at all, people would see him as ugly!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Even though he's psycho which he clearly is, he is also very sweet when he wants to be but thats just when he wants to be and every girl wants that damn prince charming type of thing and some of what of stephenie meyers description shows that he is more loving, accept now behind midnight sun shows he's a little more obsessive!. I think it's because they're love lives are borderline pathetic!. I don't know!. I don't see how a character in a book is "SOOOOO HOTT!!!"!. I like the books and all, but the obsession with a fictitious character is a little odd to me, especially one so domineering as Edward!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Nymphetamine~girl, are you kidding!? Have you actually read the books!? In Midnight Sun especially, cold personality, a belief that he is better than everyone else and hatred for people (He has an internal rant at Bella for existing!. He *obsesses* over Mike Newton and how much he doesn't like him for the whole twelve chapters we've seen) pretty much sums him up!. But all those traits are pretty obvious within the series itself, too!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Because he is pretty much what so many girls dream about personified!. I mean, who wouldn't like to have someone who is absolutely head over heels in love with you!. Willing to expose all their deepest secrets no matter the consequences that might come from it!. Or completely blind to all others just because of you!? Becouse I have always found guys with cold personalitys that hate and think they are better than most people!.
