Ok!.!.!.for my english class!.!.!. i have to write a story like something Edgar Allan Poe would write (for you who don't know him, he had a HORRIBLE life (all the women he loved died of tuberculosis [cough up blood, and keep doing it, and then die {that's why he wrote the "Mask of the Red Death"}] and he married his 12-year-old cousin Virginia, got many foul nicknames- like Tomahawk Man for being cruel while working for a newspaper, he drunk alot (basically jinxing himself) and never got much money (the only money he ever made off his writing was from the Raven-and he made 14!.00)!. the story I have to write has to have themes such as obsession!.!.!.premature burial, the people go insane (at least one), fear, sadness!.!.!.and other things that would fit into a plot like this!. I just want ideas for a plot for this story!.!.!.i can't think of anything!.!.!.thanks!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I should hope *most people* have heard of Edgar Allan Poe!.
Premature Burial isn't a theme (well, at least not for something like this, because really, it could be) like obsession, fear or sadness, but a poem (by him)!. (just thought you should know)

For the plot:
You should probably do a narrative (I can't think of anything he did that wasn't), and center it maybe around a stalker, preparing to kill (almost Tell-tale-heart-esque, but not quite)!.
Be sure to include the intimates details:subtle things that only a psychopathic murderer is likely to notice, like the scent of her hair, when her brings the knife across her throat, or the fear in her eyes fading away, as her heart slows to a stop!.
Use odd metaphors, like "the smile of blood below her chin looked ludicrously clown-like, and he [the stalker] laughed"!.

i am writing about a guy and his wife and his stepdaughter going on a trip camping on the grand canyon, and the wife is filthy rich!!!!! the girl is very suspicious of the guy and whenever he is around there is a bad vibe in the air!. so, he wants the lady's wealth, so he pushes her off the canyon and then goes for the girl, bu she holds on and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah
