Question: Name of a sci-fi story!?
I was talking with my mom about classic sci-fi plots, and she was telling me of a short story/book she read LONG ago, that became the inspiration for a Star Trek episode!.
It was about a group of space travellers who landed on a planet, and all the inhabitants were moving towards a temple, saying they were going to see the "sun!." Just to humor them, the travellers followed them, and found out that they meant "SON," as in Jesus!.
I'm THINKING either Ray Bradbury or Robert Heinlen wrote it,it sounds like them!. Anyone have any clue!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

The Star Trek episode in question!.!.!.!.!."Bread and Circuses" is a second season episode of Star Trek: The Original Series, broadcast on March 15, 1968!. It is episode #54, production #43, written by Gene Roddenberry, and Gene L!. Coon, based on an uncredited story by John Kneubuhl!.
The American Samoa English Deparment of Curriculum & Instuction has an honorary award named after him!. The award is given to a student or a group of students who has succeeded three consecutive times at the annual "Speech and Drama Festival"!. The first receipient of the award was 18 year old Renee Togafau from Samoana High School who won the Impromtu Persuasive Speech category from 2002 to 2004!.
