Question: Mary Sue!.!.!. and an Edward question!.!.!. actually, just call it a Twilight questions!?
I'm wondering!.!.!. who's a bigger Mary Sue/Gary Stu!? Bella or Edward!?
Bella is literally the self insertion of Stephenie into her book, and Edward is the perfect lovable (By girls, anyways) guy!.!.!.!. who Stephenie wishes she could be with!.
also, what's so great about Edward!? Sure, he's perfect, but why does that attract you girls!? I've seen some girls in my school that look angered when I say Bella!. 0!.o
I have read the book if you're going to use it as an excuse against me!. And I'm a guy, so don't use that excuse either!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think Bella is a bigger Mary Sue!. With all the whining, and complaining I just want to choke her!. She's the girl that is clumsy but she got the hot huy to fall for her!. She has "faults" but he still loves her!. Every guy in school falls in love with her for no reason!. And she doesnt want it!. And she's even the new girl! That practically defines a Mary Sue (well in fanfiction anyway)!.

But i hate Edward too!. He is a huge Gary Stu!. Perfect, beautiful, hot, everyone loves him, but you cant have him and he's dangerous!. Dont forget abusive and controlling!.

The only halfway decent charactor is Jacob but then she ruined his charactor with all the nessie imprinting crap!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Don't generalize, I feel little to no attraction to Edward at all!. My boyfriend is so much better!. Mainly because he's not a blood-sucking undead stalker who can read the minds of everyone except one person!. Thus, in my point of view, Edward is not perfect--he just seems that way because he's seen from Bella's point of view!. People like him because he represents what most everyone would want in a partner--protective (overtly, in his case), a gentleman, and a good speaker and listener!. Plus he always seems to be there when you need him, except when he runs away from Bella!. Which I think is kind of lame!.

Bella to me though, is probably the most Mary Sue of the two!. I mean, she's so generic that her major "flaw" is being an insanely accident-prone klutz!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
