Question: What do you think of Kenya deporting a US author of an anti-Obama book!?
NAIROBI, Kenya - The American author of a best-selling book attacking Barack Obama as unfit for the presidency was being deported from Kenya on Tuesday, a criminal investigations official said!.
Jerome Corsi, who wrote "The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality," was picked up by police Tuesday for not having a work permit, said Carlos Maluta, a senior immigration official in charge of investigations!.

Authors are considered journalists and as such do not ever require a work permit!. He was expelled simply for telling his story!. Libs would have been angry if he was doing it against McCain but since he is doing it against Obama they are cheering the KenyansWww@QuestionHome@Com
I travel abroad for work quite frequently, and as such, you must make sure you have all of your permits/visas prior to entry!. While it's a pain, it's also part and parcel of working abroad!. To assume that someone from your country has the right to go work in another country with no protocols is a bit of a folly!.
They can be quite expensive (a NAFTA Professional Licence is but one example), but such is the cost!. As such, Mr!. Corsi has three excuses:
1) Through various means he did not pursue the lawful permits needed
2) He willfully lied at Customs/Immigration about his reason for visiting the country

Probably the government would have done better to let him have his publicity stunt, but Corsi certainly deserves what he got!. Flying into Kenya to do his showboat advertisement for his book, without lining up his work permits and other papers -- he should leave Kenya out of his political games, since Kenya has nothing to do with Obama himself!. He has family there, but never lived there!. Let Corsi peddle his book in the country where Obama is running!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Well, if the guy was breaking an actual law, then it's quite fair, and probably coincidental that he happened to have written an anti-Obama author!. I sincerely hope it wasn't due to that!. Quite frankly, there are actually some black people out there, including my husband, who despise Obama!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
