Question: Harry Potter fans please read!!?
Well in the 3rd book ( this bit was only in the book so if you havent reasd it then you wont get what i mean ) when Harry and Hermione return from their adventure with the time turner and Snape turns up right after they find out Black has escaped again and he starts shouting that Harry had done something to do with it and Dumbledore asks Madam Pomfrey if they had left the room ever since he had left and she says no!.
" Well there you have it, Severus ", said Dumbledore calmly!. " Unless your suggesting that Harry and Hermione are able to be in two places at once, I'm afraid I don't see any point in troubling them further "!.
Ok so the actual question is why would Dumbledore suggest it was HARRY AND HERMIONE when Snape was saying it had something to do with HARRY!? Wouldn't that make someone suspicious that it was harry and Hermione who set him free!? Or was Rowling tired and made that mistake!?

Hermione was with Harry and they were each others alibis!. Madam Pomfrey was an alibi for both of them!. Due to this, you can see that it's understandable for Dumbledore to mention Hermione in such a way!.
I believe that when Snape says that Harry had something to do with it, he is implying that Harry's Gryffindor friends would have aided and abetted him in the task and so is correctly referring to Harry as being the ring leader who instigated the escape of Sirius!.

Since I didn't have much to do, I dug out the book!. A bit earlier on it said that Snape pointed at both Harry and Hermione, thus accusing both of them!. He would probably do that because the Golden Trio was well known in Hogwarts, and poor Ron was unconscious at that time, I think!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
i think he refers to hermione bcause she was with harry all the time!.it's like saying harry was with hermione the whole time do you imply they did st together,do you think hermione is that risky!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
