I almost always hand-write because I'm free to cross out and insert words and scribble ideas down in the margins, etc!. I can write upside down, in bed, on my arms (can't do that with a computer!)!. There's also the satisfaction of seeing a page full of writing!. The fact that I still have to look at the keyboard while I type may make me biased, though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It really depends on my mood!. Sometimes when my brain is flying so fast that I can barely keep track of my thoughts I prefer to write longhand because it forces my mind to slow down and concentrate more!. The other advantage is that I can take my pen and notebook whereever I want, but don't have the luxgery with my computer (which is a desktop)!. Writing by longhand provides a hard copy for the first really crappy draft, which is nice because computers crash or lose files!.

Other times I like typing though, especially if I need the internet for research purposes!. The only downside is that there's more distractions in my apartment than if I go elsewhere!. More the most part I prefer typing though because it's faster and easier!. Not to mention the fact that I don't have to worry about my hand cramping so bad I can barely straighten my fingers out!. The other thing I like about typing is that it's a lot easier to correct mistakes, especially spelling errors!. Spell check is my best friend because I can't always spell the word right but I can usually spell it close enough and then pick the right word out of the options spell check provides!. Not to mention the fact that spell check highlights the times that I accidently write the same word back to back!. An occurence that happens more often than I care to admit whether I'm writing longhand or typing!.

Handwriting by far!. When i sit in front of a computer i lose all my ideas!. I also like to be able to bring what im writing with me easily!. But of coarse after i finish writing it i edit and type it and stuff like that!. i usually add loads of things thenWww@QuestionHome@Com

It depends, if you're typing you feel more relaxed but if you're writing by longhand ideas come to you easily!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If I'm free writing, definitely handwriting!. For some reason it makes my ideas come together much faster!. Typing is much easier if I'm copying something out though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
