James Patterson, King, koontz and Clancy are mystery on the sci-fi side, Although Patterson has also done some romance like in Sunday's at Tiffanys and Sam's letters to Jennifer!. Koontz is my fave in that genre!. If you're going to read Koontz, start with Odd Thomas!.
Danielle Steele is Romance!.
Grisham is mystery usually about lawyers or court room stuff!.
Ken Follet is one of my faves!. He writes Historical!. The pillars of the earth is awesome (it is like 900 pages long)!. Follet also wrote some mystery but I didn't read them!. He is a great Historical author!.
I have not read Janet Evanovich!.

All of these authors are serial writers, with a lot of books, all about the same quality!. They don't really have "best" novels in my eyes!. If you want to read them, just pick up any book by the author, and they should be all about the same!.

Steele writes romance, Grisham law-related thrillers, Clancy military-related thrillers, and King horror!. The others!.!.!. I don't know!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

James Patterson has written very many books!. some are science fiction-horror type stories, and some are geared toward young adults!.
Stephen King wrote a lot of horror stories that were turned into movies!.
I also know that Tom Clancy wrote many books but I haven't read any of them so I don't know much about them!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Janet Evanovich - Stephanie Plum series (my favorite series)!.
King - Cairi brought him attention!.
Danielle Steele - mostly her romance novels!.
Grisham - his novels based on law
Koontz - His Odd Thomas novels are quite populat
