Question: The ending to Rhett Butler's People (Spoilers wanted)!?
After being dissapointed by "Scarlett," I was looking up more information on "Rhett Butler's People!." Wikipedia said: The story is not completely from Rhett's perspective!. It procedes to tell other moments from the time during the original story and then proceeds to add a new ending to the story!."

So, for those of you who've read it, would you mind just briefly saying what this new ending is!. I want to know if this book is worth it!. How far past "Tomorrow is another day" does its ending go!? Is it a complete ending!? &tc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's interesting, in it's way!. There's a LOT more detail about Rhett's relationship with Belle Watling and her son!. The ending actually gets to Scarlett's "tomorrow", after winding its way through a sometimes bewildering array of minor characters who seem to drop in and out of the book!. (For example, I never really got the character of Rhett's sister, Rosemary -- if she was that good a friend to Melanie, why did her name NEVER come up in GWTW, and why didn't Melanie acknowledge him/the relationship!?) But the story winds up with the burning of a major landmark, and Scarlett kissing Belle on the cheek after having her at a houseparty that she and Rhett throw !. !. !. is that sufficiently bizarre enough for you!? :-) Www@QuestionHome@Com
