Question: Where are the other instances of light, dark, and color as a symbol in Great Gatsby besides the green light!?
we were supposed to assign ourselves our own prompt to write about great gatsby!.!.!. i chose the use of light and dark and color!.

so!.!.!. i was thinking of the valley of ashes and the green light!.!.!. also how gatsby's house was always bright at the parties but at the end of the book when he's dead it's very dark!.!.!. are there any other parts in the book where fitzgerald uses light, dark, or color as symbols!? thanks =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

I remember seeing The Great Gatsby at the movies and being so envious of their lifestyle!.!.although I would never have fit in!. !.!.and actually !.!.it was a kind of shallow way of life!.
